Beyond expectations: the CC 31′ – a spacious and stylish tiny home by MitchCraft

CC 31' - MitchCraft Tiny Homes, USA

When one thinks of tiny houses, a common image that comes to mind is a small and simplistic dwelling. While this perception holds true for many tiny houses, there are also surprisingly luxurious options available for those seeking a more comfortable lifestyle. Colorado based MitchCraft Tiny Homes has recently unveiled their latest model, the CC 31′, which defies expectations by offering a spacious interior layout complete with amenities, typically associated with larger brick-and-mortar homes, including a dishwasher and a bath.
Built on a triple-axle trailer, the CC 31′ x 10′ is designed with mobility in mind. This feature allows owners to easily relocate their tiny house if desired. The exterior of the house is finished in a combination of painted board and batten, with corrugated siding and cedar accenting, giving it a modern and aesthetically pleasing appearance.

The CC 31′ measures 31 feet in length and 10 feet in width (or 9.4 meters by 3 meters). Its slightly wider dimensions, surpassing the standard 8.5 feet (2.5 meters) of most tiny houses, mean that a permit would be required to tow it on the road. Although this additional width may seem insignificant, it makes a noticeable difference in the interior space, creating a more comfortable and accommodating living environment.
Visitors are welcomed into a charming and functional tiny home through a set of inviting double glass doors. As they step inside, they are greeted by a well-equipped kitchen area that boasts modern appliances such as a fridge/freezer, an oven with a four-burner propane-powered stove, a dishwasher, and an abundance of cabinetry and storage space. The space is flooded with natural light, thanks to generous glazing, including skylights, which create a bright and airy atmosphere.
Adjacent to the kitchen lies the living room, which impresses with its spaciousness and versatility. The L-shaped seating area not only offers a comfortable place to relax but also provides additional storage options, cleverly integrated beneath and next to the seating. To ensure optimum comfort, a mini-split air-conditioning system is installed, working in harmony with ceiling fans to maintain a pleasant temperature in the living area.

On the other side of the kitchen, a hallway awaits, offering even more storage possibilities and granting access to the bathroom. This thoughtfully designed bathroom is a sanctuary of relaxation and convenience. Featuring a unique horse trough-style soaker bathtub and shower, it exudes rustic charm while providing a luxurious bathing experience. A vanity sink and a flushing toilet complete the amenities, ensuring that every need is met in this compact yet functional space.
Beyond the practicality of its layout and the convenience of its amenities, this tiny home embraces the concept of sustainable living. From its propane-powered stove to its energy-efficient air-conditioning system, every aspect of this abode is designed with eco-consciousness in mind. The large windows and skylights not only flood the interior with natural light but also reduce the need for artificial lighting during the day, resulting in reduced energy consumption.
The interior design of this tiny home is a testament to the power of efficient and creative use of space. Despite its compact size, the cleverly designed cabinetry and storage solutions ensure that every item has its place, eliminating clutter and maximizing functionality. The open floor plan seamlessly connects the kitchen, living room, and bathroom, creating an inviting and cohesive living environment.
While tiny homes have gained popularity as a minimalist and affordable housing option, this particular model elevates the concept to a whole new level. It combines practicality, comfort, and sustainability in a way that creates a truly exceptional living experience. Whether used as a permanent residence

However, it is worth noting that the sleeping area does have a low ceiling, which is a characteristic often associated with tiny houses. While this may require some adjustment for taller individuals, the overall design of the CC 31′ x 10′ effectively maximizes every available inch of space.
In terms of power, the CC 31′ x 10′ can be connected to a standard RV-style hookup. This ensures a reliable and convenient source of electricity, making it suitable for both on-grid and off-grid living arrangements.
The impeccable design and attention to detail of the CC 31′ x 10′ does come with a price tag. The cost for this particular model is set at US$210,000.
