Innovative bike camper for eco-friendly adventures

GoCamp - Flevobike, The Netherlands

Dutch company Flevobike has introduced an innovative pedal-powered RV called the GoCamp module, designed to complement its GoLo e-assisted cargo quadricycle. Functioning like a pickup camper sliding into a truck, the electric motorhome features an expandable hard-roofed interior with a convertible lounge/bed, indoor/outdoor dining area, workstation, and a solar-charged battery for both the camper and electric drive.
The GoCamp module is a modular accessory within the GoLo ecosystem, providing a unique camping solution for cyclists. The camper offers a compact yet versatile space for relaxation and sleep, featuring an extended front foot box that folds forward over the folded high-back rider’s seat, creating an extra-long single bed. The design includes a large flip-up hatch door for access, shelves for storage, and a removable tabletop for dining and work.

During the day, riders can keep the side hatch open, allowing for a breeze while benefiting from the integrated 400-W solar panel system on the roof and side door. In addition to the pedal-assist mid-drive with a 1,000-Wh battery pack, the solar system can contribute up to 31 miles (50 km) of pedal-assisted range per day. The camper includes electrical amenities such as a fridge box, LED lighting, 12V and USB outlets, an inverter, and a 220-V socket.
The GoCamp is designed to fit the narrow-bodied GoLo Bike, with a width of 35 in (88 cm), suitable for bike paths and shared roadways. With four-wheel independent suspension and a windshield to prevent water splashing, the GoCamp offers a comfortable and eco-friendly camping experience.
While pricing details are yet to be announced, the GoCamp presents an intriguing option for those seeking a compact, quiet, and green vehicle camping solution.
